Benefits of Membership

  • Achieve a higher level of networking via greater interaction with prominent Classicists both within our department and from other departments and programs.

Path to Membership

  1. Complete any Latin or Greek class with an average of B or higher.
  2. Pay a one-time membership fee of $50 (Cash, check, or Venmo).  Bring your payment to one of our officers in WAG 105.
  3. Receive your official membership certificate and pin at the beginning of the following semester.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a Classics/Latin/Greek major?
No, you simply need to have gained a B or higher in a Latin or Greek course.
Can I still come to meetings and/or participate in social events if I am not a member yet?
Yes, as long as you plan to become a member.
